Here's a little bit more about the character and her team:

Miu was born and raised in Ecruteak City in the Johto region, and she grew up loving to explore the old burned down tower. It was there that she met her first Pokemon Min, then a tiny little Eevee who had fallen through the old floorboards and become trapped. From then on the two were inseperable, and when Eevee evolved into an Espeon Miu became obsessed with all the other Eeveelutions as well, and now has a full set, as well as several other Eevees, many of which she found abandoned in Goldenrod and Saffron.

Miu loves exploring and adventures, and often gets excessively excited over mystery caves and hidden treasures. She never goes anywhere without her first aid kit, however, because she is fairly clumsy in her excitement. Not that she minds. It's just another adventure after all. In fact, that's how she met Whisper, her Absol, who took to following her around in an attempt to warn her of the danger she often puts herself into. Eventually Absol would become a permanent member of her team, and Miu's adventurous spirit is starting to rub off on it. Miu caught Rush just after Fisk hatched from his egg. Fisk and Rush are fiercely competitive, and think of each other as rivals. Miu caught Dart while exploring some old ruins in the middle of the desert, and was shocked to find he was a different color from most (her go-goggles she was wearing are tinted). Luca was a gift from one of her close friends when he was just an egg.
